Sun PhuQuoc Airways' system supports upgrading your baggage package through various methods:
CHANNEL 01
Buy with Flight Ticket
During the online booking process, after setting passenger information, you can easily select and purchase additional checked baggage units directly on the screen.
CHANNEL 02
Booking Management Section
For paid tickets, simply visit the website, enter the exact booking code (PNR) and passenger surname to add extra baggage weight at any time.
CHANNEL 03
Online Check‑in
When performing Online Check‑in (from 24 hours up to 3 hours before the domestic flight departure), the website/app system will provide an additional option to purchase extra prepaid baggage units.

Ticket Office & Agents
Passengers can also call the hotline, visit official ticket offices or authorized Sun PhuQuoc Airways agent networks for assistance.
Detailed Service Information
In response to the new travel season, Sun PhuQuoc Airways launches a special promotional program for the route between Ho Chi Minh City ↔ Van Don:
- Details: 30% discount on prepaid checked baggage for the standard 23kg piece, costing only 200,000 VND / piece (original price
280,000 VND).* - Validity period: From 12/05/2026 to 27/05/2026.
- Applicable flight period: From 15/06/2026 onward.
- Exclusion period (not applicable): Peak holiday from 28/08/2026 to 02/09/2026.
* Note: Displayed fee does not include Value‑Added Tax (VAT).
To ensure a smooth flight, please note the following safety transport guidelines:
- At the airport check‑in area, if the actual weight or size of the baggage exceeds the total allowance (including free standard and prepaid baggage), passengers must pay an additional Airport Baggage Fee for the excess.
- Any checked baggage piece with total dimensions exceeding 203 cm or weighing over 32 kg will not be accepted as checked baggage on commercial flights. Such cases must be transported as cargo.

Q1: How long before departure do I need to complete the prepaid baggage purchase?
Passengers must complete the prepaid baggage purchase no later than 3 hours before the scheduled departure. If this deadline is missed, you must purchase additional baggage directly at the airport at a cost about 50% higher.
Q2: Can I purchase additional prepaid baggage after completing Online Check‑in?
Yes. Even after completing online check‑in, passengers can still access the system via "Manage Booking" → "Purchase Ancillary Services" → "Prepaid Baggage" to add more, provided the action is taken at least 3 hours before take‑off.
Q3: Can I cancel a purchased additional baggage package?
According to Sun PhuQuoc Airways' terms and conditions, purchased additional checked‑baggage packages are non‑refundable and non‑cancellable. However, the baggage allowance can be retained and transferred to a new flight when the passenger changes their itinerary.
Q4: What steps do I need to take to purchase additional baggage?
You can flexibly choose one of the following convenient methods:
- Using the Web/App platform: You can purchase directly during the initial booking flow; add later via "Manage Booking"; or buy at the confirmation step in the online check‑in flow.
- In person: Go to any official ticket office or authorized agency network for assistance.
Q5: When I change my flight, can the paid baggage service be transferred to the new flight?
Yes. The system allows transferring the purchased baggage allowance to the new travel date or itinerary with equal or higher fees. For swift and accurate processing, please contact Sun PhuQuoc Airways' Customer Care Center directly.
